/ Bangladesh make winning start with win over Oman

Mohammad Hassan scored a hattrick as Bangladesh made a winning start to their Junior Asia Cup hockey campaign with a 3-1 win against hosts Oman in Muscat on Tuesday.
Hassan scored in the seventh, 37th and 38th minutes – the first two field goals and the third one from penalty corner – as Bangladesh romped to a 3-0 lead before Oman pulled one back in the 55th minute of the match.
This is the sixth win in six meetings for Bangladesh against Oman in the history of the competition.
Bangladesh will take on Pakistan tomorrow in their next match of Pool B, which also features Malaysia and China.
